Assistant Director of Med/Surg,ICU & ER -
The Assistant Director Med/Surg,ICU & ER supports leadership provided by the Director of Med/Surg, ICU & ER by assisting in the improvement, maintenance and delivery of patient care processes. The Assistant Director Med/Surg,ICU & ER will assume delegated responsibilities from the Director for the implementation of daily operations. The Assistant Director works in a supportive manner and as a resource to the Med/Surg, ICU & ER staff and as a representative for the Director. This position requires:
- AZ RN License
- BSN and Masters prepared or currently completing a Masters program.
- Current CPR, ACLS and PALS (PALS may be obtained within the first 6 months).
Must be able to interact effectively with co-workers, patients/family, physicians and other hospital personnel. Some 12 hour staff shifts may occur on weekends, nights and holidays. This position requires the ability to be on 24 hour call in the absence of or on a rotating basis with the Director.
